Shipping Red Hat Name Badges Outside the United States

While the shipping costs can get a wee bit expensive (especially if you order only one or two name badges), we do ship our name badges to addresses outside the United States.

If you'd like us to ship your name badges outside the United States, here's how to estimate what your shipping/handling charge will be:

1) Calculate the weight of your order in pounds and ounces. The empty envelope and packaging supplies weigh 5 ounces. Each name badge weighs 0.75 ounces. If you were ordering 24 name badges, the badges would weigh 18 ounces (24 badges x 0.75 ounces per badge). Add in the 5 ounces for the packaging, and the total would be 23 ounces. There are 16 ounces in a pound, so the total weight would be 1 pound, 7 ounces.

2) Visit the United States Postal Service web site at http://ircalc.usps.gov/ and calculate the postage cost. Select your country from the "Select a Destination" area at the top of the page. When you select a shape, use "Large Envelope" for up to 36 name badges and "Package" for 37 or more name badges. If the page asks for a shipping zip code, use 43065. After you click "Continue," you'll see postage for various shipping methods. Use either the "Post Office Price" for Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelope (up to 36 name badges) or the "Post Office Price" for Priority Mail International (37 or more name badges).

3) Add a $1.50 handling fee.

So if we shipped 24 name badges to Great Britain, the shipping/handling fee for the order would be $13.40 USD (actually, with the flat rate envelope, the shipping/handling fee to ship from here in balmy Central Ohio to Great Britan would be $13.40 USD for any quantity of name badges between 1 and 36).
